# Governance

The operation of the nodes is managed and coordinated by the Swiss Association called *Nodebetreiber der SwissDLT. M*embership fees and payments are made in the [DAO.](https://bcts-1.gitbook.io/swissdlt/governance/dao) The Association has annual IRL meetings of its members early january.
